Overview
The EVD8HX and EVD16HX are based on the latest H264 compression for recording, allowing much longer and clearer recordings than MPEG4 compression.
The machines are available in 8 and 16 camera versions and have 4 audio inputs. Both machines record at 25fps (Real Time)
For easy backing up both model ranges offer USB Backup and optinal DVD backup, the playback software is automatically copied along with the recorded images and audio, making playback quick and easy on a compatible Windows PC.
The powerful network server built in to the units allows them to offer remote playback, live viewing and backing up of cameras and recordings from any compatible Windows PC using Internet Explorer, configuration changes can also be made. For times when a PC is not nearby a compatible 3G Mobile Phone can be used (iPhone, Symbian, Windows)
The range is designed to be quick to setup, easy to use and feature rich, an IR Remote Control is also provided for further ease of use.
