Here at Y3K Europe Ltd we take environmental issues very seriously.

Under the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) guidelines we offer customers, who order a like for like product from us, a free recycling service where we will collect the old appliance and then dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way. This means that all WEEE products are recycled using the best available treatment, recovery and recycling techniques to ensure human health and high environmental protection.

All we need from you is your co-operation to help us to recycle WEEE products by returning your items to us. Any products with the above symbol on it can be recycled through WEEE procedures.

How does the procedure work?

1.   Please call our sales team and tell them at point of sale that you have an item that you would like us to dispose of under the WEEE guidelines. (The item we collect must be a like for like product that you are ordering from us at the point that you mention a WEEE collection is needed.) The WEEE product must be back with us within 28 days of the date of your replacement order.

2.   We will arrange for a collection of your WEEE product at no cost to you.

3.   All you will need to do is: pack the item carefully ready for collection and affix the special WEEE document that we will send you to the outside of the packaging.

4.   The item is then collected and we will arrange for its disposal in a safe, environmentally friendly way in line with all legislation surrounding this policy.

5.   If you are ordering on line please make a note of your order number and call us to let us know that you have an item that you would like us to dispose of under the WEEE guidelines. Your on line order number will be needed at the point of arranging the collection.

6.   Why not buy from us in our trade counter, where we can also arrange for your old product to be disposed of under the WEEE guidelines, and bring it in with you to save you the time to pack it all up and wait for a collection?
