Y3K Improve Technical Support Experience for its Trade Customers

Y3K today announced the decision to introduce a local rate telephone number for its trade customers. The results of a survey of Y3K customers indicated that introducing this local rate number would enhance the overall service offered by the company. Calls to geographic (01 or 02) phone numbers and are often included free of charge in home phone or mobile call bundles callers may have with their phone company. From Friday 14th February customers will be able to call local rate number 0208 689 9999 to speak to Y3K’s technical support staff.

Technical support team expansion

The survey also highlighted how important it is for customer to get through to technical staff quickly when product support is needed. As a result, Y3K has doubled the number of technical support staff on duty at its London premises. Now, trade customers, in addition to receiving Lifetime Technical Support, will be able to call Y3K’s expanded support team from 9.30am until 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, using a local rate number. Paul Singh, Y3K’s Group CEO, commented on the changes implemented by saying, "We have decided to offer our customers local rate technical support numbers and we have also recruited more staff so that we can reduce call waiting times for anyone looking for assistance. Both of these initiatives are designed to help our customers keep their costs down.”
